IRCTC, a company under the Indian Ministry of Railways, has been given full responsibility to operate the train. Railway Minister Shri Ashwini Vaishnav officially inaugurated the train from Delhi’s Safdarjung railway station on Tuesday 21st June 2022. It will return to Delhi after completing its 18-day journey with a total of 600 passengers.
According to the IRCTC, the first destination of the train will be Ayodhya and then return to Delhi via Buxar and Jainagar, Janakpur in neighboring Nepal, then Kashi, Chitrakoot, Nasik, Hampi, Rameshwaram, Kanchipuram, and Bhadrachalam. It will take 18 days to travel 8,000 kilometers. This miraculous journey is a golden opportunity for the devotees to have faith in Lord Rama. According to the railways, a total of 10 third AC coaches have been added to the train and the total package has been priced at Rs 62,370 per person. This cost will include hotel, train fares, travel car fares, and three meals a day. Tourists must take a dose of two covid vaccines on this trip.
