STATE OVERVIEW
The State has a geographical area of 307,713 sq km which is the 3rd largest position in terms of the geographical area in India & divided into a total of 36 districts. It is bounded by the Indian states Madhya Pradesh to the north, Chhattisgarh to the east, Karnataka to the south, Telangana to the southeast, the Arabian Sea to the west, Gujarat to the northwest, and Goa to the southwest part. The total population of the state is approx. 12.3 crores in 2020.
