Radio Frequency Identity Card (RFID) has already been introduced to track the movement of pilgrims at Mata Vaishno Devi. Sri Mata Vaisandevi Shrine Board (SMVDSB) has started the much-desired skywalk project. This arrangement has been adopted to separate the entry and exit of passengers in the building area. The work on this skywalk, which is about 200 meters long and 2.5 meters wide, is expected to be completed by November 2022. It will cost approximately 9 crore 89 lakh rupees. This is very good news for pilgrims in the coming days. Overcrowding will be manageable with ease and pilgrims will be able to complete the darshan in less time. Lt. Governor, Sri Manoj Sinha laid the foundation for the infrastructure project of Sri Mata Vaishno Devi Temple from Raj Bhavan. Mr. Sinha, who is also the Chairman of the Shrine Board also said that the Shrine Board is taking all measures to make the journey more modern, convenient, and hassle-free.
