Goa is the third most populous state in West India and the twenty-fifth most populous state in the country. This is an Arabian Sea Coastline state in the western part of the Country. STATE OVERVIEW
The State has a geographical area of 3.702 sq km which is the 28th largest position in terms of the geographical area in India & divided into only 2 districts(South Goa & North Goa). Goa is the smallest state in India by its area. It is bounded by the Indian state Maharashtra to the north, Karnataka to the east and south region, and the Arabian Sea to the west part. The total population of the state is approx. 15.9 lakh in 2020.

CLIMATE
Generally, Goa falls under the Koppen climate system as it has a tropical seasonal climate throughout the year with dry summers and monsoons. The average temperature here is around 28 degrees.

HOW TO VISIT
By Air
There are several domestic and international airline services in Goa. The only airport here is Dabolim International Airport, located just 30 km from the state capital Panaji. Flights to Goa are available from all cities of the country. outside the airport terminal, tourists can easily get taxi and bus services to reach their destinations.
By Rail
Goa is only 400 km away from Mumbai so it is much easier to reach Goa by rail. Goa is well connected to Mumbai and other major railway stations in the country. The main railway stations are located at Margaon, such as Vasco da Gama and Madgaon.
By Road
Goa is connected by several national and state highways. Goa is much easier to reach from Mumbai and Bangalore. This route can reach Goa in just 10-12 hours.
