Jharkhand is the fourth most populous state in eastern India and the fourteenth most populous state in the country. Divided from Bihar in 2000, the new state is known for its numerous natural waterfalls, dams, lakes, and wildlife sanctuaries. Here you will see three major waterfalls as Lodh Falls, Jonha Falls, and Sadni Falls. There are also several dams, a famous Jain temple on the Parasnath hill, and a very ancient Lord Jagannath temple built in the 17th century. STATE OVERVIEW
The State has a geographical area of 79,714 sq km which is the 15th largest position in terms of the geographical area in India & divided into a total of 24 districts. It is bounded by Bihar to the north, West Bengal to the east, Uttar Pradesh to the northwest part, Chhattisgarh and Odisha to the west and southern part. The total population of the state is approx. 3.9 crores in 2020.

The two main airports in Jharkhand for passenger services are Birsa Munda International Airport which is located in the state capital, Ranchi and another one is Deoghar Airport which is located in Kunda, Deoghar, from there tourists can easily get taxi and bus services to reach their destinations.
By Rail
The state is very well connected with all the regions of the country by rail. The major railway stations here are Tatanagar, Ranchi, Dhanbad, and Jasidih. Bus and taxi services are available from outside the railway station to reach any destination.
By Road
As the road network, Jharkhand is widely connected to national highways and state highways in most parts of the country, and there are many bus and taxi services for local citizens as well as tourists to easily travel to their destinations in and out of the state.
